Ready for a little good news? Fewer people are dying from cancer these days, and the incidence of the disease is also on the wane, according to the American Cancer Society.
The decline in the lung cancer death rate among men is due to a decrease in tobacco use, says the American Cancer Society. The lung cancer death rate among women has stabilized after increasing for many decades, according to the Society.
