WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION AFFIRMS MESOTHELIOMA RISK FROM ALL ASBESTOS TYPES

The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has confirmed that all types of commercial asbestos—including chrysotile asbestos, the type most commonly used in the United States—cause mesothelioma, lung cancer and laryngeal cancer.
