March 5th, 2009
The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is calling on all Merseyside businesses to take part in a corporate contest being dubbed the £50 Challenge.
The charity is challenging twenty local businesses to see how much they can raise for the Foundation with a start up.
One thousand pounds was donated by an anonymous local business to get the idea off the ground.
Each business has three months to grow the initial £50 contribution from the charity that launches on March 3rd at the Jurys Inn in Liverpool City Centre.
The challenge ends on June 3rd with an awards ceremony on June 18th.
