Shirt sales support counselor with cancer

Marshalltown Community School District staff say Bruce Walker has been there for them and now they are taking their turn.
Walker was diagnosed with lung cancer July 10 and his fellow school counselors have got together to sell T-shirts to help pay for Walker’s medical expenses.
“We wanted to show support and solidarity for Bruce,” said Sue Cleveringa, Fisher Elementary School counselor and organizer of the shirt sales.
