Moffitt cancer center bans smoking on its grounds
As his wife received treatment for lung cancer Monday at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Institute, Jerome Williams, 64, slipped outside for a few moments.For a cigarette.
But Williams was one of the last to do so. Starting today, Moffitt goes smoke-free. Cigarettes will be banned not only from inside the hospital, but from the hospital’s entire campus.
