“Together, Facing Lung Cancer”
November 10th, 2007
The National Cancer Institute states that there will be an estimated 213,380 new cases of lung cancer diagnosed this year. Today, patients and their families have more choices about diagnosing and treating lung cancer, but coping with decisions can be overwhelming.
Winthrop-University Hospital’s Advances in Cancer Care educational series would like to invite patients and families dealing with the challenges of lung cancer to a free lecture, “Together, Facing Lung Cancer: Using the Team Approach to Care,” on Wednesday, November 14th, at 7:00 PM. The program will be held at Winthrop’s Community Outreach Center, 101 Mineola Boulevard at the corner of Second Street in Mineola.
