National Lung Cancer Awareness Month

The Michigan Department of Community Health is recognizing November as National Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Michigan and the U.S. It will claim the lives of more than 160,000 Americans this year. The best way to prevent lung cancer is to not smoke and to live and work in a smoke-free environment.
