I cannot believe anyone would say that CT scans are of no use. My friend has lung cancer and had we caught it in an earlier stage, the outcome would be much better. Since it was not caught, surgery is no longer an option as it has spread. I would strongly suggest CT scans and would get one myself… the report stating they are of no use is ridiculous and I would hope that anyone with the ability to think would realize it is better to catch any cancer in earlier stages. My applause to Dr. Henschke and your foundation and anyone who is trying to make the scans more available to help bring about the end of Lung Cancer!
