Mary Dawkins handled something as terrifying as being diagnosed with lung cancer with the kind of quiet strength you don’t find too often.After her diagnosis, she began crocheting caps - hundreds of caps, all kinds of colors, all kinds of designs - to give to local chemo patients. She was driven by her own experience of losing her hair during chemo.
